Blake van Koesveld graduated with First Class
Honours from the University of Sydney, Australia
in 2003, and has worked in public health
and private practice in Sydney and London. He frequently undertakes post-graduate courses
and in 2011 completed a Certificate in Spinal
Manual Therapy. This has equipped him with
advanced skills for relieving back pain,
neck pain and headaches. Blake has particular expertise in orthopaedics
having worked closely with consultant surgeons
in major institutions including the Royal
National Orthopaedic Hospital. He is able
to help clients by assessing new complaints,
helping them weigh up treatment options and
providing post-surgical rehabilitation if
necessary. When treating common pain conditions, Blake
often uses deep soft tissue massage, Mulligan
mobilisation techniques and specific exercises.
He believes that a selection of the best
exercises, done properly, often hold the
key to solving longstanding issues. As a lifelong and committed sports fan, Blake
uses his knowledge of sports to customise
rehabilitation for his athletic clients,
from marathon runners to circus performers. |
