MASSAGE THERAPY

Remedial Massage Therapy

Remedial massage therapy is designed to find and treat the cause of the disorder or dysfunction, rather than focusing on just the symptoms.

Your initial consultation for remedial massage therapy may include questions about your lifestyle, such as jobs, posture, sport, age, hobbies and medical history. Your therapist will then design a treatment plan using a range of sports massage techniques and appropriate remedial exercises.

If your therapist suspects a more complex underlying problem, they may refer you to one of our physiotherapists.

Remedial massage therapy can improve:
  • back pain and shoulder problems
  • sports and accidental injuries, sprains and strains etc
  • post-pregnancy problems
  • post-surgery problems
  • knee and ankle problems
  • hip problems.
  • chronic muscular aches and pains.
Remedial massage therapy can also help with stress-related disorders such as:
  • migraines
  • tense neck and shoulders
  • headaches
  • fatigue related aches and pains.
